Things They Say~

Last night while Abe and I were getting ready for bed we were telling each other all the things that Madeline had said or done the past couple of days that was cute and that the other one missed. Thursday night seems to be our "catch-up" night since he watches the girls Wednesday morning and then he's off to work and we don't really get a chance to talk again until Thursday night. Anyways, last night he was filling me in on some cute things miss Madeline had done: While he was reading her a bedtime story she threw her arm across his chest and gave him a hug and said "Daddy, you're my most favorite Daddy, and Mommy's my most favorite Mommy! I love you!" awww! Yesterday, while riding in the car she was teaching Grace to "talk". Madeline would say "hi" then Grace would say "hi" in the same tone that Madeline used, this went on for a long time "hiiiiiii", "hiiiiii", "hhhhhhiiiiiii", "hhhhhhiiiiiii"....it was very cute! She's very excited about her birthday party that's coming up and she asked, "Are we going to say 'Surprise' to me like we did Daddy?" I said no b/c she knows she's having a party so it's not a surprise. Then she said to Grace, "I'm sorry for me, we'll say surprise to me next birthday Grace."
