When Mommy's gone...the kids play!

When I say that "when mommy's gone...the kids will play!" I am of course referring to Madeline & Abe. While I was away wedding dress shopping with Kristen and her mom & sister, Abe was left with Madeline (Grace was shopping with us girls). Anyways, there always has to be an adventure with daddy and boy did he deliver this time. Madeline went for a walk and to take our neighbor, who is almost two, a muffin; little did daddy know that he locked them out! So what does he do you ask? Does he call mommy? No. Does he call his parents who have a key? No. Instead he decides to teach Madeline how to break-into a house. Yes, that's right. He opens our bathroom window, which is above the sink, and puts her inside and tells her to go and unlock the backdoor and he'd give her some chocolate chips. She did it! And that's not the end of his adventures. He proceeds to go bare-foot out in the back yard and that's when he steps on a thumbtack (which had been holding up a fly catcher thingy) anyways it goes all-the-way into his foot. Well this morning before church he got to go get a tetanus shot. On a happy note: he did get to watch the OU football game!
