Birthday Cake...

Yesterday, we went to a friends' daughters (Keira) first birthday party. Madeline helped Keira's mom open the presents, she was very nice about it by asking if she could help first. She was also help full to Keiras' mom by telling her what the presents were once they were opened. For example: when she opened our gift of a play dough play set Madeline says, "it's pray-dough!" She also seemed to like everyone singing the Happy Birthday song to Keira...because after dinner I gave her a piece of chocolate sheet cake that I had made and she looked at me and said, "ev-e-body has to say happy dirt-day to me!" I told her it wasn't her birthday...she didn't seem to care about that fact, so I said happy birthday and then she ate her cake. We have Ava's birthday party this coming weekend and I'll let you know how that one goes!
